On June 2, 2025, we welcomed Chef Agus Hermawan, of Michelin-recognised Ron Gastrobar Indonesia, and Terasa Nusantara for The Symposium of Indonesian Epicurean — an immersive exploration of chemical-free, heritage-driven Indonesian gastronomy.
Hosted at our signature Jingga Restaurant, this one-night-only experience transformed traditional ingredients and dishes into elevated, modern expressions through expert curation and culinary mastery.
Chef Agus Hermawan
Chef Agus Hermawan is an acclaimed Indonesian chef and restaurateur, best known as the executive chef at Ron Gastrobar Indonesia, where he blends Indonesian flavors with modern gastronomy. With years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Agus has established himself as a creative force, crafting innovative dishes that celebrate both heritage and contemporary techniques. For more than twenty-five years, he has been dedicated to elevating Indonesian cuisine to international standards.
Terasa Nusantara
Terasa Nusantara is a plant-based seasoning line inspired by the diverse culinary heritage of Indonesia and Asia. Created in collaboration with Little Garden Restaurant in Yogyakarta, it uses 100% locally sourced ingredients and traditional fermentation techniques to bring depth, umami, and authenticity to every dish. From forest-grown spices to time-honoured preservation methods, Terasa Nusantara captures the rich tastes of the archipelago in a way that’s natural, sustainable, and full of character.
