IKATAN: A Photography Exhibition by Hastosa & Menggah Agung

Presented by Bumi Kinar, curated by Studio Nutur

04.10–08.11.2025 | Free Entry

Kinship among humankind is like a single strand of thread.

We meet, intertwine, and become part of a beautiful tapestry.

Each colourful thread reflects the essence and nature of a person—some harmonise naturally, while others form imperfect knots—yet all contribute to the beauty of the whole.

The Mastermind

Hastosa, a professional fashion photographer and the creative director of Menggah Agung, explores the relationship between Humans and Fabric.

To him, fashion is more than just grace or aesthetics—it is a medium that tells stories through the model’s expression, through intertwined threads and flowing fabrics.

Bumi Kinar, Peace & Harmony

Bumi Kinar emerges as a space that nurtures peace and harmony—in the relationship of humans with one another, with nature, and with the universe. Rooted in culture, local wisdom, and contemporary knowledge, Bumi Kinar grows in the spirit of sustainability and balance.

Together with Hastosa in the exhibition “Ikatan”, Bumi Kinar celebrates the beauty of connection: between humans in their diversity, between humans and nature, and between humans and the universe.

Hastosa chose Jingga Ubud—a place where meals are lovingly prepared by local youth, with ingredients harvested from the gardens of Bumi Kinar and Kinar Village.

All come together in one rhythm: peace and harmony. This bond reminds us that diversity is strength, and balance is the way.
